Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: July 27, 2026

1. Dining Reservations and Cancellations
At The Mayor’s House by Selda, we pride ourselves on exceptional service and preparation. Because our space in the Bishop Arts District is highly sought after, we require a credit card to secure reservations for large parties or special holiday dining events. If you need to cancel or modify your reservation, we kindly request a minimum of 24 hours' notice. Failure to cancel within this timeframe, or a complete "no-show," may result in a non-refundable cancellation fee charged to the card on file, as detailed during the booking process.

2. Private Events and Deposits
To secure one of our elegant spaces for a private event, gathering, or large-party booking, a formal contract and an initial deposit are required. This deposit is applied toward your final master bill. Due to the extensive planning and scheduling involved in curating these elevated experiences, event deposits are strictly non-refundable if the event is canceled within 14 days of the scheduled date. Cancellations made prior to the 14-day window may be eligible for a partial refund or date transfer, subject to the specific terms outlined in your private event contract.

3. Food and Beverage Experiences
We are committed to delivering authentic Mediterranean cuisine and perfectly crafted signature cocktails. If a food or beverage item does not meet your expectations or our rigorous quality standards, please notify your server or a floor manager immediately during your visit. We will gladly replace the item or offer an alternative of equal value. Because of the nature of the food and beverage industry, we cannot offer refunds for consumed items or for complaints registered after you have left the premises.

4. Gift Cards and Merchandise
All sales of physical and digital gift cards to The Mayor’s House by Selda are final. Gift cards cannot be reloaded, resold, transferred for value, or redeemed for cash, except where explicitly required by Texas state law. If a gift card is lost, stolen, or used without permission, it cannot be replaced or refunded. Any tangible merchandise purchased on-site must be returned within 14 days in unwashed, unworn, and original condition, accompanied by a receipt, to be eligible for a full refund or exchange.
